Health & Mental Wellness — Drop-in Clinics & Counselling

Overview:

Health & Mental Wellness services include drop-in primary care clinics (in partnership with local community health centres), trauma-informed counselling (individual and group), addiction recovery supports, and referral to specialized care. Services prioritize low-barrier access, culturally competent care, and pathways to insured services where eligible.

Key Components:
• Weekly drop-in nurse-practitioner clinic (wound care, vaccines, basic prescribing where appropriate)
• Licensed counsellors for trauma-informed therapy and group peer supports
• Addiction recovery groups and harm-reduction supplies/linkages
• Mental health triage and urgent referrals to crisis services

Governance & clinical safeguards:
Clinical services delivered via formal MOUs with licensed community health partners. All clinicians are credentialed and indemnified through partner organizations. On-site non-clinical staff receive training in mental health first aid and suicide prevention.

KPIs & outcomes:
• Clinic visits per month — target 400
• % of clients triaged to higher level care within 72 hours — target 90%
• Number of counselling sessions delivered — target 1,200/year
